Ali-Express would be my go-to place for such things. I never seem to lose the cheap stuff, only the expensive gear. So, no more expensive sunnies for me unless I can't find a good cheap option.

If you've bought any recently or have any suggestions, could you please share where and how much they cost? Thanks.

Having lost my last pair even before I went fishing, I made do with a non-polarised set and my eyes still hurt, many days after a recent morning on the water. Won't be doing that again.

I brought abuot 4 pairs from Ali Express and they are good enough to bash around in, but the lens coating comes off after a few bumps and bruises.

I have had 4 pairs of the same Shimano offerings for $40 - I still love them. I want them to float though... 1 pair came off when I turned my head quickly (they weren't well secured and on my forehead)... Another pair was given to the Gods of a Cambodian waterfall when I went under it and forgot they were on my forehead again...

My friend at the shop I buy them at was feeling sorry for me and gave me a free Sunglass Holder... :)

Thanks very much for the replies and suggestions. Good idea on the floating ones.

I got some Kingsevens from Ali. Hands down just as good as my old DDs. At a fraction of the price. 8)

No the ones I got don't float, I just use a floating strap.
Here's the link to their Ali page tho.

Got a cheap floating set off marine deals - the Aropec brand. Seem good but will see how long they last. $30+the standard $10 delivery.

It did made me think there ought to be a youtube channel dedicated to reviewing fishing gear from any seller, including those on Ali Express, to sort out the cheap crap from the slightly more expensive and slightly better than crap gear so we all don't have to waste the time and $ with a scatter gun/click and hope approach to buying cheap stuff online ;-)

What do you think fellas and fellesses? Throw in my job to become a full time fishing gear reviewer? Kinda like a modern day consumer magazine but a you tube channel. All I need is someone, a patron, to fund me the modest $50k start-up costs. Who's in? Anyone?
