Yes, really a boat, not a kayak - even though it's a little bit shorter than my last kayak.

Finally after 7 weeks wait and a horrible experience with this boat manufacturer, I finally got my boat today.

Smartwave 3500, made from same plastic as kayaks.

Anyway, while driving home the support bar on the trailer, which previously only had to support the weight of a kayak, collapsed. Boat is okay, but I had to lift it up over a piece of metal at the back to avoid scratching it wen taking it off the trailer. And so started a long a sweaty battle trying to get the boat off the trailer. It was pretty hot this afternoon, I had a thick shirt on and all this happened inside a very small, very hot garage without any ventilation... Sweat was dripping off my head like a shower and I had to take my glasses off because they were soaked and I couldn't see through them!
I JUST COULD NOT lift the back of the boat high enough to get something in under it so that I could fix the support bar, at least well enough so I could get the boat off without scratching it.
I first tried pushing a bucket in under the boat, which was too low, so I put a small wheel on top of the bucket. Tried to lift the boat high enough to get these to in under it, but JUST COULD NOT! Then tried on of these little portable fish smokers, which bent under the weigh as I tried to squeeze it and the wheel in under the boat... Then decided that the problem must be that I don't have enough space to position the bucket or the smoker, so tried balancing 2 of the wheels on the side of the trailer, but still JUST COULD NOT lift the boat...

Finally, I'd say after 20+ minutes, I sat down on the garage floor. Shirt soaked and sweat running from my head like a bloody shower, regretting my purchase as I am obviously not going to be able to manage this boat on my own if it's this heavy. And then, from the vantage point of the garage floor, I saw one of the straps that I'd tied the boat down on the trailer with still firmly attached!!! Removed the straps and the boat's not much more difficult to manage than the kayak!!

I know how you feel, I can go to launch my Kayak and find I've left all the kit at home...

Tell us more about the boat manufacturer?
