I just bought Garmin Striker 5CV, and I am trying to mount my transducer in-hull.

I watched some youtube videos about Duct Seal usage to mount transducer in-hull, they mostly used some Duct Seal Compound in the cube shape

Something similar to this:

Unfortunately, I can't find something like this in NZ. Any ideas would be appreciated? Maybe something instead of this? :)

Cheers,

Something like this? https://www.bunnings.co.nz/selleys-80g- ... _p00227570

There are a few posts on sealing transducers in the hull in this forum, I'm curious now and a search will provide I'm sure... :)

Thanks All,
Thanks for the hint, I was wondering if something like this can be bought in NZ.
Doing this the first time and I just tried to make it easier and to avoid those air pockets between hull and transducer if possible. :wasntme: :)

Will try with that one you suggested.

Cheers,
Barac
