Good Morning and thanks for letting me join!
I've lived in New Zealand since December of 2015( originally from Tennessee USA) but never really started enjoying the fishing until just recently. My wife and I collected our first bag of scallops Saturday and did a bit of fishing with no luck. I saw a guy with a kayak and it really looked interesting. My wife and I thought it would be a great adventure to buy a couple and use them as a catamaran for fishing and diving. I have 2 sons and they are keen to the idea as well. I would love some suggestions.
Thanks
Bigdan

Hi Bigdan
No doubt you will get plenty of suggestions as to what kayaks to get but as we tell our customers - what suits one person doesn't suit another so try before you buy.
Budget of course also determines what you get but be wary of cheap with short warranties as plastic used in these will not hold up to NZ UV rays!
Depending on where you live there are clubs around to join up and learn from others. You may also find it useful to watch Rob's You Tube shows with plenty of fishing action as well as useful information to help you with kayak set-up etc.

Enjoy.

Welcome. I would agree with the above, kayak choice is somewhat personal. Where in NZ are you? A location would help us give fishing advice. There's usually someone with local knowledge.
