Well, heading down to wrinkly corner this weekend and the in laws have been complaining about missing out on all the fresh fish. What do you do??????????????
I gave Doc profit a call yesterday to see if he was keen to drop a line in a new spot, reply yes.
With Doc not sleeping in antisapation he was on the road for 0530, me after leaving home at 0815 due to loading up prior and not the night before.
Arrived at 0915, loaded up and paddled out looking for Doc, after a quick catchup with reports of fishing going off an hour before my arrival, I dropped my first line.
After about half an hour whack, a nice 50cm came aboard. Doc already had 5 so I was playing catchup.
Next one was a nice 34cm specimen and after slack tide, my last which was a good 45cm.
Doc had a great day with his largest snap of 60cm and his first kingi.
A great day worth taking off work.
Should keep the in laws happy hopefully.
