With last weekends fishing going well off tongoio , i'll be heading that way again for sunday, :y:
We had a small group there last weekend and we all caught good fish.
Be cool to see some of you out there .
I'll be live-baiting for Kingfish as there were some around last week and hopefully i'll pick up a few bottom fish too.
Forecast looks good :y:

Sorry I couldn't join you . Visitors . But all good , We dined at Pipi Cafe , ( where I had fish . good too !) Saturday we had lunch at Clearview Winery , and that too was very nice . All pretty spendy , but I can't say I would rather be fishing, well not in this heat anyway.
I've been eyeing up Tongoio for a while ,so hopefully its good to me . Looks like you are doing well. Is the launch ok ? Looks to me like its best at low tide, but i haven't launched there before, so give us the drop on launching at Tongoio, eh!?

Hi Herman, The at Tongoio is fairly easy but a little more exposed to swell.
All you have to is time a wave right and your away. Usually just one dumper. Same on the way back in. Today i was specifically targeting Kingfish,
I managed to hook onto a very nice fish of 15 kilos on a live mackerel. Landed that one and 5 others.
