Hi to all competitors who entered the Ocean Kayak Gold Rush.Well what a weekend.
Even with the trying conditions, there were a lot of fish weighed in. As the series grows and the competition heats up, I am sure that some of the competitive and good natured spirit that was shown over the weekend will grow even more.
Technical....It might have looked as though there were only 60 competitors (note a previous entry from you

) they were all hidden in the waves

but there were 80 and what a great bunch of people you all are.
I just got home and finished cleaning the bus, so here are the results.

I would like to thank all sponsors and competitors who Supported the Ocean Kayak Gold Rush. Remember, when you are buying product, please support the sponsors, as without their support, I would not be able to run these competitions.
Registrations are already coming in for the Nationals Series and it looks like the final round in Whangarei mid next year will be huge.
The next round is being held in conjunction with the Taranaki Classic, so lets support this fantastic competition and for a change, I will be fishing it as well.
