Pushed off at Harrisons cut around 08:30
Weather perfect, sea perfect, its gunna be O for awesome no matter what happens on the fishing front.
Trolled a lure on the way out but not action.
Stopped at around 10-12 m
Mid thirties snap on first cast, :D
Caught two more in the next 10 mins.
The rod in the holder got hit a few times but nothing was sticking, remembered I had given it a bit of a birthday after to last trip so tightened up the wee drag at the bottom and nik minit we are hooked up. Nice carrot, brekkie sorted.
Hooked what felt light another pannie and up came the nice snap in the pic, 52cm, pretty good fish for Papamoa.
Picked up another snap and a medium kawhai, put them both back.
by then it was 10:15 and time to head in for a coffee.
Trolled on the way home, pulled in another mid range kawhai which also went back.
Home and washed up in time for lunch.
Its gunna be a great afternoon
