Who's got a few extra of lure "X" or has found lure "Y" isn't working for them, and wants to try a lure "Z"? Or maybe you've got a certain colour and want to try a different colour of the same softbait/lure?
Maybe it's just me or location but I've got waxwings that just don't work for me but I've read others love 'em.
Anyone keen? If so, maybe we could put up pics of what we have to swap and what we want to swap to?
Online swap meet, anyone?

After a very brief rummage, here goes nuth'n:
To swap:
- Two 118 waxwings (pink is unused still with trebles, blue used twice - I took the hooks off)
- Two weighted paddle tail softbaits - unused, hooks a bit rusty
- Unused lumo squid
- Unused lip grippers (I'm trying to keep things simple and have decided to use a net only)
Will also have some slug-go's both 7 1/2" and 9" soon, if anyone wants to try 'em out. I'm hoping to see if I can slow troll and cast them instead of livebaiting.
Should be able to get more stuff to swap if I get time this weekend to look through everything.
Wanted:
- Will try anything, at least once.
- If I get to choose, a kabura style slider rig, say, about 60gms would be nice.

Happy to swap them for money
How does $10 plus postage sound?
By the way, Marine Deals have a waxwing in their mid-week deals today for $13.

In all seriousness, anyone in Auckland or further north want a Stealth 495 in exchange for your ruddered Ultra/Trident 4.3 with Icebox?
I'd prefer a pretty much stock boat without too many personalised mods.
I don't have the strength in my shoulder to handle the Stealth when it's out of the water anymore, It's only gone out probably twice in the last year as a result.
Comes with callsign, name and running rig. Unistrut wall mounts.
It's a hassle pulling it out of the garage so will post pics if there are any serious bites.

Would be nice to just paddle one, HLD, to feel how well it slices through the water compared to our relative tubs.
Found a few more things to swap if anyone is interested, all new:
Pair of neoprene shoes with rubber soles, size 9.
Gaff - of dubious quality.
Two black knife jigs - 200gms (with 8/0's) and 250gms (with 9/0's).
If anyone has any spare hard-body lures of repute or better yet, proven results, I'd love to start trying some. I'm thinking Dr Evils, Strike Pro, etc.

I'll bring my Fisha up to your patch and you can take it out, it doesn't "slice through the water" so much as glides over it,
let this weather blow through and we'll set a date.

That would be fantastic, thanks. Might have to wait until the end of Summer though, if OK with you? I'm about to head North for a few months of work. Hopefully will get amongst it up there somewhere. Mate up there threatening to mothership me somewhere but I dunno where yet. Yehaw.

Have alewife and mackeral in the 9" and ayu in the 7 1/2".

Would anyone with a spare 6000-sized baitrunner reel in good nic want to swap it for a greenland paddle? I've got three paddles, two of which I haven't tested yet but if they work as well as I hope I could swap one or both and move onto experimenting with different paddle styles. If they don't paddle well, I'll plane the byjebus out of them until they do or become firewood, whichever comes first.

Lovely work. I've been following the thread about the GP's. I don't have a reel you want but is there something else you need? I'd really like to try out a paddle like that.kingiFiddler wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2018 3:49 pm Would anyone with a spare 6000-sized baitrunner reel in good nic want to swap it for a greenland paddle? Thanks. If I'm happy with how they paddle, and nobody has a reel they want to swap for one after a few weeks (or I find the $ for a new reel instead of swapping), you are welcome to have a crack with one for a few weeks. I reckon it's best to try them out a few times, in different weather and sea states.dedant wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2018 5:31 pmLovely work. I've been following the thread about the GP's.
