Nice setup glint. Notice you have a decent sized tackle box intergrated into the front of your 13. I have struggled to find something suitable for mine. Any heads up where you got yours from..?glint wrote:us jaffas just hang it over the sidephilbo wrote:I seem to use the aim it over the side technique haha![]()

I generally don't do more than sip water on the kayak. That way I don't have to pee or sweat much.
I can drink water when I get in. I'm sure this does reduce my stamina, but I'm not doing long paddles.

Out of interest, I wear boxer shorts instead of briefs when I go kayaking and wear the leggings only (cut off from the "body" portion of the pants) of old Skins compression pants under shorts. The Skins leggings protect my legs against the sun and with this setup there's a clear and easy path under the shorts and boxers to slip a PVC pipe in when required. No need to move clothing around and no need for a permanently attached pipe. Works a charm.
On the other hand, I do find that I pee a LOT out on the water and that I'm always exhausted on the day as well as the next day after a trip (average trip 4-6 hours). Thanks for the suggestion Hainesy, this all rings true to what I struggle with... I'll certainly give this stuff a try and will need to remember to drink more often.
