Then after weight in on each of the other nights. Openings wont be early so pick up what you want the evening before. Will get him to open from 7am each morning over the weekend. we opened early last year at 5am and no one really used it.

Best of luck to you lot, give the boaties a run for their money
If anyone is still looking for a (non-comp) buddy in the northern BOI (Cape Wiwiki) or Whangaroa (Stevies Is.) area let me know. Planning on being out anyway.
Good SE churning up the edges at the moment.

Being a bit distant haven't paid much attention to this thread. Sorry to hear about your dad PJ, that's a tough one. Add one more KFNZ member that wishes you well.
Only a year gone since I spent my Grandfathers last few hours at his side and it sure is tough.

Finally Justin ordered some good weather and what a cracker it was. For the Viking Raiders we couldn't have asked for a better result with winning the Team trophy for the 2nd year. Individually we did very well with Stephen Tapp taking the individual category,1st place and me taking 3rd.
I had a fantastic time, not only with the fishing, but with catching up with a lot of the guys I've fished with and had a few drinks with before. The friendly banter is something very unique to these comps and there was no shortage of it over the days and especially into sunday night.
A big thanks to all the sponsors. Ole' Mike from Top Catch with his massive support and graciously awarding some prizes he had won to very happy recipients. Of course there are all of the kayak manufacturers who give their support as well. I won't go through the list but we should show our support for these guys in return.
Back home now, back to work in a few minutes
Are the final results in yet?
