hi there. I have had a lot of good luck fishing this year straight out from Turakina. Good size snapper, tarakihi, blue cod and gurnard.

Welcome omykiss1792. If you do some searches on this forum, you should find some Palmy guys who fish from Scotts Ferry. Seems to be a few guys from up there. As Yakfisho snapps said, good fishing can be found right along this coast but if your new to the sport, would recommend hooking up with a group of others.

Hi, I'm a trout fisher normally but I'm currently collecting up the gear required for kayak fishing, I've just ordered a Viking pro fish GT, I've got a reasonable level of fitness but have never been sea kayaking before, I'm looking for someone or a group to head out with over the summer, around the Manawatu area. I rather tag in with a few experienced people before heading into the big blue alone. My cellphone number is 0211914654.
