G'day new here, but not to kayak fishing. I'm from over the ditch and have been in Nelson coming up to three years now. I've been on the look out for a Prowler, Stealth, or similar but nothing has come up. Finally bought a cheap no name kayak as I couldn't go another summer without getting on the water. Looks like a Pescador copy.

I've left behind a Hobie Sport and a Wilderness Systems Tarpon which were too expensive to ship over. Used to chase everything from freshwater Bass and Murray Cod in skinny creeks to Mackeral and Snapper out in the open water.

I work out at the Glen and hope to put in around there and Cable Bay.

Hey mate. Likewise an Aussie (very soon) coming to live in the SI. Not exactly sure where yet however the Nelson Lakes Area is high on the list. I'll be bringing over 4 Hobie PA14's with me..
Be good to hook up. :)

Thanks, hope to add some new NZ photos soon and hopefully meet up with some other fishos.

Yes that's a flathead. One of my favourite species to target and eat.

Bassifier, great stuff. I miss my Hobie. Who are you freighting your yaks over with?

G'day mate, from Stoke but work out at the Glen so will be putting in there mostly. Headed out on Sunday just past and lost all my plastics, probably barracuda? Flick us a PM mate and let's tee something up.
