Narrowneck Sat

As penance for my yet again lateness at the ramp Mitch volunteered me to do the report.
Baz was suffering from a serious case of the sniffles so was unavailable and Doc was busy reading my new book, Catch Mayor Snapper so he was also unable to make it too.
We launched on an out going tide at 6.45, conditions were pretty good and we both got a few throw backs. The wind picked up and matched the tide which saw us drift at a rapid rate. Each paddle back was hard work and the paddle home was a killer.
The Narrowneck Premiere fishing league which is regarded by many as the most elite in the world is well and truly under way with results the same as usual. I ended up with 7, biggest 42cm and Mitch just a solitary specimen. The league table is as follows:

The Mayor - 789 points
Mitch (Grasshopper) - 40 points mainly for effort.
Doc Profit - 0 points, he seems to be doing better in the NZ knitting Championship.
Baz - minus 546 points for being such a whimp, on a positive note he is now sponsored by Beechams Cold and Flu.

Great day on the water. Tight lines all.

Nice catch Luke. I hope you got in before it really started to blow. I flagged going today and I'm glad I did. Hopefully we get some nicer weather soon.

Sorry, I fell asleep reading your book, which seemed to be nothing more than a rehash of techniques stolen from me.

In better news, I've almost finished knitting a new jumper for these chilly mornings. :coffee:
