After visiting in laws at Papamoa and being surprised by daughter from Brisbane arriving unannounced, decided to get her a feed of NZ snapper before returning back to Qld.
After arriving home quickly unloaded the bags and loaded the yak for an early start.
Arrived at NN for 0515 and loaded up, on water for 0545 and paddled out to the yellow bouy to fish the incoming tide.
Did a couple of drifts during the showers of rain and ended up with 4 snaps enough for dinner.
Good morning out even in the rain. Home by 0945.

Mayor, you need to buy your balls from the same shop as I do, I don't melt in the rain. I do have concrete pills in my car for you.

Nice haul :y: Oh to be semi retired, must be so good to do a week day fish.
Right lets be clear on the only rule regarding The Narrowneck Premiere League which is regarded by many as probably the best fishing league in the world, is that only I as The Mayor of Narrowneck and President of the aforementioned league can award points which means I'm still top of the table.
Long weekend coming up so hopefully see you for a fish :y:

Thanks for the heads up Mayor, might see you there.
I go yak fishing to get away from a nagging wife, but have to put up with you.

I think you title should be Narrowneck court jester ( clown).
