Well, decided to do one last trip for 2017 on Saturday out of Narrowneck. After talking to The mayor on Friday it was going to be a solo trip.
(Luke realised he needed more time in the morning for putting on his yoga pants due to his increasing stomach line).

Arrived at the beach for 0440hrs and on the water for 0500hrs. With the incoming tide headed out to the yellow buoy and started the drift.
Caught three then waited for the current to pick up on the outgoing tide and scored another two.

Headed back to the beach for 1015 and guess who way there The Mayor, he must of finished yoga early as he was still in his yoga pants.

Well that's it, for those reading this, have a great Xmas and a safe New Year and tight lines and bent rods.

Note: For the Mayor, competition will start 06-01-2018 but you can practice when I'm away.
HOPE YOU GET THE NEW YOGA PANTS THAT YOU WANT.

Merry Xmas

Very funny my friend but that is actually a rashy which was getting me alot of female attention. Think they'll be a few ladies with sore necks after they kept throwing me admiring looks
I went on Sunday, real early and got 6 which means I win again. Back on the beach for 730.
As the winner of the NN league, again, I have commissioned a bronze of myself to be placed on NN beach which should be clearly visable from your cruise ship as you return in Jan.
Looking forward to the comp again next year although it's not really that difficult to outfish you guys each week
Tight lines and Happy Christmas all.

Nice to see somebody at least take advantage of this great weather and have a TR for me to read... I have not been able to fish in ages. Two young kids and a very pregnant wife are not conducive to much fishing....

Keep the TRs coming.....

Merry Christmas, all.

How much ice do you use in your catch bag. Does it actually cool down the whole catch like in the photo. Would the ice & your catch last say 4-6hrs on a balmy day
Nice catch :y:

60g-120g.

Mainly use 100g because my Nano Matrix rod is rated for that, and the current runs quite strong there at times.

I know the others tend to go lighter - 40g area, so it really just depends on your setup.
