Alas no Mitch again, he mumbled something about a competition, not sure if he meant fishing or one of the many sewing/knitting contests that he attends with his wife on a regular basis.

So I headed out at 5.30am to fish the incoming tide. Trolled my lure along the cliffs but had no luck. I brought an ocean angler slider on Friday with Kirean from top catch telling me "i need shooting if i can't catch a fish with it".

I got a couple on the new penny and decided to give the slider a go. Tried for about 15mins with no luck and was glad that i didn't have a gun äboard. Chucked the rod in the holder in frustration and bang hook into a decent fish, pretty lucky really and into the net goes a 40cm snapper.

Managed a few more on the slider, hard not to strike when you feel them hit the lure.

It was Harrison Horrace's Birthday on friday so was home at 8.30am to spend the rest of the day with the family. Got 7, 6 between 40 and 44, and one at 36. Elliot is picutred as Harry wouldn't get in the photo.

Hopefully Mitch is allowed out next weekénd.

Nice catch Luke, the comp on Sunday was great meeting others with same interest, shame you missed it (oops that right not allowed).
Maybe this weekend if you are allowed, do the washing and keep the pants, you might like it.
