Have been just as guilty not posting TR`s,Got to Orere at 7ish ,was a late start just couldn't get going.
Launched from the boat ramp at low tide, forgot my trolley :^)

Some good sign about, but couldn't convert the sign to fish, one nice snapper in the first 2 hours was as good as it got.
The micro jigs came out and that was the game changer, one fish after the another, trevs, mackerel, small kahawai, and some very small snapper, but between the small ones were some keepers, nothing over 40cm so ended up with a good feed... A :^)

That's an interesting set up with those insurance ties on your rods? Are they continually on them as you fish as they seem long enough to be? I tend to have mine tied up one the way out and again when I'm moving from place to place but while fishing (two rods) they're untied.

Nah always leashed, I dont like them and annoy the hell out of me, BUT I got pissed off with losing gear, the last straw was when I lost two sets over the side, from Tuna flicking them out of the rod holders just behind the seat... (that was pre chill pod days,in a PF440)
