Late start got on the water at 8am, first cast got hit on the drop and went screaming off then dropped, second cast got hit and after a nice fight up popped this 65cm fatty

Did a lot of catch and release and kept a 35cm that had swallowed the hook. Drifted down to the post and got this 55cm fatty

Then headed back in as the wind had turned northerly and really started to pick up and with the tide turned pretty shitty.
Headed in to talk to Beerbaron in the harbour then off home

Loving the Old Town Predator 13 easily the most comfortable and roomy kayak i have had. This topped off a great weekend with my wife getting the Principal's position at Orere Primary School which has now been formalised so i will be a local from January and will happily sell any of FOM's gear i find on the beach :D :D :D :D :D
