Maiden Voyage this morning.
On the water at 6 to see the end of a work up just around the point. Welcome sign for me as don’t have a FF yet, Good start to a great morning.
2 Snaps 42cm and 51cm respectfully.
6 KY with rats following them up. (Kept 2)
Back on dry land by 8.30.
All caught on 5” nuke chicken in 10-15m

the 4.1 Ultra seemed to take my big frame well and even in the wake of the Opotiki mussel barges never felt unstable.

Awesome sunrise and very happy with my first outing.
Bring on spring!!
He that would fish, must venture his bait.
