Off the back end of Hainesy's "shell suit comeback" comment... Where is a good place to get some new paddle pants on a budget? Are Rasdax still king, if so where from. I can only find them at Hunting and Fishing but not exactly what I'm after. What other options are out there and where from?
Any thoughts welcome!!!

The sharkskin pants are pretty mean. Flexible and warm.

Coromandel Kayak Adventures (Rob and Janet) do Rasdex pants. Or Viking Kayaks do NRS dry pants.
I have NRS pants, which I'm fond of, but I don't love. I like the semi-dry thigh pocket, but they have a pretty narrow fit. I'm 6ft and ~100kg. To get a pair that fits comfortably around my waist I had to get size 2XL, which drag on the ground if I'm not wearing booties.

Been looking at NZ Sailing, prices seem excellent, any feedback welcome, had some rasdex pants and these have lost all their waterproofing qualities, good for keeping the sun off tho!

I recommend over-all type pants that keep your back warm and dry.
I use these:

Actually someone can have my old pants for free if they want.
Scott waterproof snowboarding pants in medium. (A few frays and marks but work well and are warm).

Yeah I was looking at a similar style of salopette / overall version also.
NZ Sailing sell the ones you have but I was hoping to spend a little less hence looking at the gul Ballistic.

I had the gul code zero salopettes from NZ sailing and although fairly comfortable and warm with the high front and back, the waterproofing was average. I think the seated knees up position in the kayak seat stretches the fabric and compromises the waterproofing. Got worse and worse and I finally got sick of it at the end of last winter and chucked them out. Not sure what I’ll do this winter but may just go to pvc leggings for now.
im very happy with these, although they are now selling a new improved version it seems:
