I stowed my fishing rods at the back of the trailer and had a long and bumpy ride to my fishing destination. Upon arrival I found that the rod tip from my magic stick broke off. I won't be making that mistake again :@ .

I've bought some Jarvis Walker rod tips and super glued them to the tip of my rod. Is superglue a good alternative for epoxy?

It will work short term but wont be as flexible as resin
For the tip eye I use hot glue - slice a couple of slivers off the glue stick and put in the eye. Heat with a lighter to melt and then twist the eye on.

that's what I used ($2 pack power glue) on my 24T and didn't noticed any different.

5 min epoxy is what I always used. When the tip needs replacing 5min stuff will break down and let go when heated. Hot melt glue could be an alternative, too.

Use Hot glue... it's what we all use to repair tips in a hurry for customers. it also means it can be taken off again next time without delaminating the tip with heat.
