are they not just now repackaged as Gladiator. I remember a gone fishing episode where graham was praising Gladiator baits as he stuck his hand into a packet of gulp baits. says it all really.
Simple is as simple does.

There was a stage when all the magazines and pros were singing their praises as how its the 'best thing to hit NZ'
Funny how their decals, T-Shirts and hats have been replaced with other ones now.

Quite a laugh looking through older magazines. NZ Fishing Coast to Coast were probably the biggest advocate on how great this new product is - even promised a free DVD for the next issue.
Suddenly went very quiet...

Shows what a bit of sponsorship will do...

I tried them - but felt they were too stiff and soon reverted back to gulp.

I was given a whole pile of Slams a few years ago.

I know why. I'm another who's happy to give them on.

PS I see the new Rapala SBs say they have Ultrabite pheromones impregnated - just the same as Slams did.

I've used them, IMO not such a great hit rate as gulp but the likes of spawning season when you get plagued by snapper not a bad option as they last longer. and ultimately more economical fishing.
Now excuse me, but that seems a bit of an oxymoron to me. When has anything seriously fishing, boating, ... well anything fun, been economical.

Disclaimer: I won't tell any of your other halves if you don't tell mine.
