With endless possibilities, myself n the otherfulla did the drive over to "the darkside" in search of dinner.
We hadnt been around the north side of pepin island before and were in for a treat.
Stunning, warm, glassy n the odd fish about. Nice mix bag of mini terakihi n cod, chunky ky n a tail hooked couta...

If I gotta post photos of kahawai, its been too long since you caught one!! :rofl:
Ended up with a 2nd hand pf400. Glides along n finally somewhere for everything!
Upgraded the transducer, but still running the 4x n my fone app gps!
Thats d'Urville island in the background. Looked soooo close... kinda.....

Well done on the fish and nice pic, D'urville looks close enough to paddle to (maybe not) need to do a paddle around Peppin
Kingie 89 cm at Kina, Snapper 84 cm at Cable, Blue Cod 45cm at cable,
Gurnard 50cm at Keiteriteri , Khawai 64cm at Kina.
