I don't know about other Yaks but I have a Prowler Elite and it is very easy just to pull your self back on board. No need to use anything to help you.

Do you get on board with your BCD on or then haul it out of the water ?

Im a freediver off a yak (not scuba), but would imagine it easier to take your BCD off before trying to re board, I have seen someone do that and just throw it over into the well before re bording, but others who do it may have better advice.
