Hey guys

Spending most of the time at Waihi beach at our Bach this Xmas New Years, first time there with the kayak so was just wondering if anyone has done any good out there lately and where to go? I'm up the northern end of the beach so was just thinking of going up around the corner and checking that out. Also if anyone is keen to join me more than welcome! Cheers

Just up and around the corner is probably your best bet. My last time over there I bagged out just up past homunga bay pretty easily, decent paddle though. If these westerlies keep going like this I might come up for a go along the cliffs.

Sounds like you'll be long gone when I get there, I'm arriving on 11 Jan for about 5 days. Hey DT, any Kingys hang around the cliffs?
