Rate Your Kayak
List 3 pros and 3 cons
This could be very helpful to existing as well as new members when buying a first kayak or upgrading,Ive spoken to a lot of good and helpful sales people but the most genuine information has always come from owners who are using them regularly and have nothing to gain out of sharing their knowlege.

How about, when you hear a splash behind you, and turn to look and see nothing, do you:

1) Think nah its nothing.
2) Remind yourself of the odds of being gulped up by a HUGE FREAKING SHARKKKKKKK
3) Pee your pants slightly

LOL

If you could fish anywhere in NZ, where would you go and for what species ?

Saw this on an Australian thread and thought would be nice to ask the same thing in NZ :!:
Enjoy every craft that can float, don't have one, have them all

If you break the magic mark (20lb) what do you do?

a) If it's the first one, keep it for a trophy. After that put them back.
b) Keep it, keep it, keep it.
c) Put it back after a loving embrace/photo
d) Put it back and treat anyone who says keep it like an idiot
e) They actually grow that big?

I definately fall into the (e) category ... I'm pretty sure that Nakiman just uses the zoom function when editing his movies.

Actually, not a bad poll if you add the essential missing possibility:

4) check out what fish life you might think is around, and go chase it.

One of the things I just love about kayak fishing is that you can hear what's going on in the sea.
