So... Given the cancelled meetup that was supposed to have been this weekend just gone, what is the general consensus, should I organise another one? What's the feeling out there?

With time frames etc I'd probably aim for somewhere from late Feb to early April, kids are back at school, holidays have been taken, and you've had plenty of lawns to mow during the summer to help rack up those brownie points

So should we organise another meetup? Probably at Papa Aroha but open to suggestions too...

Please feel free to add you comments as well.

Cheers, Mental

I'd love to see it happen.
Problem might be accommodation availability for the expected numbers around that time of year.
We might have to spread ourselves around a bit.

keen to go, anytime from november onwards, just give me warning and I will start mowing the lawns and cooking maels to earn brownie points. Just not too close to the Taranaki Classic at Easter please.

Definately keen. Would also nominate Anglers, but obviously dependent on numbers.

Would be good to have everyone staying in the same place, or thereabouts. Maybe get some dates early, so people can arrange accommodation and better chance of it being available.

Yes a central place with plenty of accommodation would be the priority so we can be social in the evening without anyone having to drive, hence picking Papa Aroha.

Anglers Lodge was awesome to stay at and I'd stay there again (not just saying that 'cause I got a t-shirt ;) ) for a boys weekend but for all of us (getting towards 100 people) it wouldn't be big enough although it would be on the overflow accommodation list.

Absolutely Jason. Not sure that Anglres would cope with the numbers though.
