Great imagery, flavoured all the more by Murf's humour.

I couldn't handle the tongue depressor, so had to make do with a popsicle stick...

Thanks, those were my first kings.
Limit is 68.58 cm (27 in), two per day....
The longest that I've ever heard of were (2 caught that day) 152 cm (60 in). Those beat state record on length, but lost the title on weight.

Just split-balling here, browsed this topic from start to finish for the first time in a while, I reckon there's the makings of a damn fine calendar in there. We could create an opportunity for further potential submissions of course, create a bit of a short-list, poll to pick the final 12 (everyone picks their favourite 3, 12 highest scores).

Pictures that epitomise kayak fishing, accompanied by appropriate captions - raise the profile, support Jason and the comp sponsors for the great work they do making this forum work for us all - after costs proceeds to Starship/MacDonalds House or something? (Plus easier to flog if it's for a good cause  ).

I'm guessing the said images as they appear on the forum are effectively your property Mental and surely this can been raised before but worth consideration? Right time of year to think about it anyway.

MAMBA ecosystem on ocean coast nearby.
(MAMBA: Miles And Miles of Bugger All)

Nice scenery when eskimo rolling over the reefs and ecklonia beds though, like a very cold Fiji
