Tell me about it! We've had two new Hobies all rigged for fishing sat in the shed for 4 weeks, not got the hulls wet yet, apart from rain!
Looks like there might be a window of opportunity tomorrow morning....

Its been shocking, in the last 6 weeks I have managed 4 trips, had a soft bait rock fishing mission lined up this morning and even that got canned at 6am as the wind swung to a direction that wasn't forecast :|

I blame Donald Trump :?:

Like Hainesy, if it weren't for the wind, being confined to barracks on medical orders would be unbearable.

Although I do pop out to the garage every other day to stroke the kayak (that's not a metaphor :^) ) and tell it in hushed whispers it won't be long before the crusty dried fish blood gets wet again.

Anyone want to buy a kite?

Same here. The local goat, duck and rabbit populations are suffering as a result.

I've just finished polishing 2,300 cases ready for reloading....

Might have to be a drive to Auckland in the morning to pick up components.

Tell me about it.

I quit my job and took 6 weeks ago off to coincide with the Winter fishing season. I only went out twice and I'm back at work again. Bloody shitty wind :@

Kerry, you're an evil man! I hope you caught fish :y:

One bonus - with the crappy weather I did a full weekend in the tackle room. These are now all serviced and have new leaders. Now to find a windless winters day to get them dirty again...

At least you got to do something fishing related Stephen :D My weekend was spent starting a 100m post and rail fence - note "started" means one post in the ground - mate with a tractor and post driver is coming around in the week to drive the next 50 in  and then in doors to order a new 3D printer :P
