Unfortunately its looking likely that I will have to miss this event this year. there is a 10% chance I can still make it but I have a lot of stuff to do in the metropolitan paradise that is Hamilton. :(
Bummer mate ...was looking forward to our yearly piss take !.....we'll have to get Rusty to break out his moves on the BBQ !

Mike the weather is always mint for this event and we had great conditions last year and the year before that and that etc.

This year we have stunning conditions from mid afternoon today and continues right through to Tuesday. The fishing has been excellent also and the conditions will certainly allow everyone to get out among them. I will give all at briefing tonight at 7.30 pm the full run down on where to find the fish.

Super stocked for all coming along there are more prizes on offer than you get at other events you pay to enter.

Then there is the food and a massive spread, already seen 5 smoked trout come in yesterday to go with some smoked kingfish.

Looking forward to seeing everyone safe travels!

Thanks all it was an epic weekend - had to fish with a monster hangover after welcome drinks got out of hand (sorry campers) luckily I found my tent. Had a great day out PB with a 70cm snapp (no it wasn't the biggest) - great company great food and generally good times all round. Weather couldn't have been better. Thanks to the organisers and hosts !!
