The 2016 comp is the 10th anniversary of this event and the organisers want to make it the best one ever. The comp has grown from around 60 entries the first year to well over 200 the last two years.
Prizes are expected to be bumped up another level too with two Viking kayaks and a new early bird spot prize to be announced which involves a helicopter...

Wicked last couple of years down there
Will the blue water still be close that time of the year?
Would like to catch a albie, but don't want to paddle to OZ?

Yes there were still albies being caught at that time of the year last season, and we often get skippies later in the season also. The blue water moves in and out all the time so hopefully is in close that weekend.beerbaron wrote:Wicked last couple of years down there![]()
