Hi Guys, sorry about the wait, but I will get a full report with pics at the Measure station, the fish auction and the prize giving by the middle of the week...
Yup, I know, not very prompt, but it will be thorough, with photos of all the prize winners, thanks to our photographer Rose Tantau
Annette & I have not long been back from Tutukaka, and have just "crashed" for the afternoon.
I swear I'm more knackered than after a hard days kayak fishing.
Just quickly though, A huge thank you to our team: Aaron & Tanika who run the store so I can run this event.
Annette, who records the catches, helps set up and take down our displays, but most importantly manages yours truly.
This year was also great as we had Stephen Tapp representing our major sponsor Viking kayaks, help us set up and observed our competition with invaluable feed back.
An unexpexted bonus for us was our Pro Fisherman Jason Clendon's early return from fishing (I'm sure you will figure out why he was back so soon), and Jason also lent a hand setting up our Prize display.
In the report I will send out, I will hint at a few minor changes we are considering for the competition next year, which should enhance the comp.

Any feed back from you guys would be appreciated. We are thrilled at the positive comments we received at the comp. - Thanks for that guys
Thank you to all entrants for participating, and travelling from Auckland, New Plymouth, Tauranga, Coromandel, & Russell.
This year our local contestants did very well. (sounds like a challenge eh)
Cheers.
