Date is now changed to Sunday 18th due to better forecast and also there is a power boat race off the port on Saturday. Power boats and kayaks don't really mix

It was a great day on the water today with some big km's paddled in the glassy conditions. Everyone landed a tuna which was cool especially for the guys new to tuna fishing.
Congrats to Leyton for heaviest fish of the day and Adrian second place taking home the prizes courtesy of Canoe and Kayak Taranaki.
Special thanks to the guys from out of town who made a big effort to travel and attend this event.
Next comp is the big one the Taranaki Classic 24th and 25th March see you there
