Registrations are starting to come in for our annual get-together on weekend of 4/5 November 2017. Entry is free (a contribution for the BBQ dinner is much appreciated) but you must be a Coromandel Kayak Adventures (CKA) club member (free) - see here for details: http://www.kayakadventures.co.nz/Kayak-Club/index.php/ and initial registration form here: http://www.kayakadventures.co.nz/get-to ... istration/
Cut off date for club membership is: October 20th 2017
Cut off date for registration is: October 27th 2017
(If you have a buddy organised to fish with please ensure they are also a CKA club member and registered for event).
A bonus this year is the Kayak Fishing NZ forum (Mental and team) are combining with us and putting together an additional generous prize pack (on top of CKA prizes) for a Grand Slam i.e the angler that catches the highest total weight of the target species. Mental is working on another "surprise" for each entrant so watch this space as more details come to hand.
Time is ticking along quickly so look forward to seeing familiar faces from previous events and many new members also.
Cheers
Janet & Rob

Initial Registration Forms are coming in so shaping up to be another great event. Please remember if you have a fishing buddy they must be registered also (as well as club member). For those booked in the Papa Aroha Holiday Park already this is a note I received from camp manager Annita: We still have heaps of tent sites left just all the cabins and powered sites are full. Please let everyone know that we are now as from tomorrow 2nd Oct coming into the 21st century and now our bookings are on line and I don't have enough info to put into our computer base to confirm bookings so if you can just let all kayaks know to ring and confirm bookings that would be great. It will be on my Papa Aroha Holiday Park FB page.
There is plenty of other accommodation around and if wanting a cabin or powered site get in touch with the Coromandel Information Centre for more details.
For all new Kayak Fishing NZ forum members this event is also a combined event with Coromandel Kayak Adventures so come along and meet fellow forum members and put a face to the name, enjoy some great fishing, plenty of prizes and to top if off an amazing pot luck BBQ meal and its all for FREE.
Cheers
Janet & Rob
