Hey everyone, finally have got a sounder lined up after 3 years fishing without one. I have a few questions about installing one for my kayak.
I have a Profish 400 lite.
Where do you store your battery?
Where can i put the transducer as it doesn't fit into the 400 slot underneath the hull?
And what do you do to make all the wiring water tight?
Thanks for reading
Cheers

Have a look here, the only difference is for the DF transducer you are going to need to do an internal install > http://www.vikingkayaks.co.nz/kayaking+ ... rofish+400

A different idea for battery storage

Unfortunately my kayak was stolen, but up until that point the battery pod was a very convenient system.
