Hey peeps,

I've ordered a LifePo4 battery for my electric motor, but still need to find a waterproof solution to keep it in. Previously I kept the bigger AGM battery in a coolerbox with the cables sticking out under the lid. Worked fine for a few splashes, but would not work in serious rain and is very bulky to have a cooler box at the back on every trip.

So... Anybody know where I can buy a waterproof battery box that'll keep the connections dry as well?

I did think I'd have to make one myself, but as my wife rightly pointed out I suck at DIY and it'll be cheaper and more effective for me to buy something.

Slightly off topic but where did you order your battery and what size is it?

I got a 40AH from AA Solar because they didn't have a 60AH in stock and no ETA for the next order.

Communicating with them is painful, but I bought my previous AGM battery from them and had no problem with the actual battery.

Thanks Snakebite, I'll pop past the Warehouse and see whether I think it'll keep the connections dry. Can't really tell from the photo. It would be the easiest option and really I just need splashproof.

That looks great jordan. Bit of a struggle finding one in the size I need and they don't have the electric connector already attached:
