Hi everyone.
I am moving to Kerikeri next month and I am thinking of starting to try kayak fishing and would love some help with which type of kayak I should get and what type of accessory's I will need to start up. I am a seasoned fisherman and I won't be going miles off shore. I plan to sort all of the thing's I need over the next few months and be ready to fish in the spring

Is there a club that maybe meets up for a drink and telling of fisherman tales in the area?

Thank's in advance Tony

I'd recommend buying a yak before you come up - can be costly getting them posted up here as we're in a cul-de-sac.
Without being too personal :P What's your weight/build/any kayaking experience?

Don't need to go miles offshore up this way :)
