Not by me! Posting on behalf of a work colleague.

Anything considered, but they are not looking for top end, fish finders etc. Just a safe kayak that will get them out there for a bit of casual harbour fishing at a reasonable price.

They are looking in Whangarei and the immediate areas to begin with. Let me know if you have anything and I will pass on the message.

Cheers

Hey

I have a Ocean Kayak Trident 4.3 that I'm selling. Has rudder, basic lowrance (Hook4) fish finder, tagit bag, running rig, carbon/composite paddle and lifejacket and the crown jewel of 4.3's a genuine Utebox. 3 years old I have had it from new, always stored undercover. Looking for $2200.

Might be a bit more than he wants based on your post but throwing it out there. In Whangarei too.

(havent advertised as yet as a guy at work was interested, but he hasnt got back to me so open to others looking/buying)

Cheers Meatc. I will mention it, but probably too high spec/cost. You might want to consider selling that ute box separately as there seems to be a big demand for them,

There are some Ocean Kayak Scramblers on the Trade Me.

One for $450.

That was my 1st fishing kayak, and I kind of regret selling it.

Really stable, easy to paddle and handle.

Thanks Doc. Will let the person know about the Scramblers. Also happened to be my first yak as well, agree with everything you say about them.

I've caught up with the person in question. They are still looking, but have narrowed it down to models like the Scrambler or Espri. Based on what they want it for, I think this is reasonable. That TradeMe Scrambler would have been ideal, but they missed out.
