I have a Shimano Stradic 3000FJ which I really like. You can't get that size here so was looking at the 2500.

If not the Stradic, what other options would you guys recommend? Also, anyone know when (if) the Stradic CI4+ will make it over??

Yeah so does Marine Deals, but they are parallel imported, and I can do the same cheaper ;)

Yeah last year they weren't but I think they are bringing in the 3000 this year. TBH I looked at a 2500 and a 3000 int the shop the other day in another model and I couldn't tell them apart. same drag specs and everything other than about 30m extra line capacity.

Here's the reply back from the Wholesaler
Stradic Ci4+ should be here by Mid October – may be a delay in sizes, 1000 and 2500 being first, 4000 to follow

Saw a C14+ 2500 in store today,($299) trying to convince myself i dont need one :P
Other stores told me they weren't in until November though.... :wasntme:
