So a few presents from friends and family just before lockdown mean I'm going to give micro jigging a go (got an Inchiku and a set of 8 Kaveman Kaburas). I mostly fish around Nelson in water down to 30m deep.

I've got a new Sedona 2500 sitting not being used, so am after a rod to go with it, short enough to be manageable on the kayak (6' 6" or under?), max lure weight of around 100g, max spend $200-$250 (though cheaper means I can get some micro jigs off Kaveman).

Obvious contenders are a Shimano Backbone Coltsniper, or an Ocean Angler Micro Jigging rod, with a K-Labs or a Kaveman rod being possibilities too.

Any thoughts?

Out of those listed, I'd go k-labs for sure.
