Date/Time of Capture: 12.30 13/1/13

Type of Lure/Bait used: 1/2 oz jig with pink shine lizard
Comments: 1st days fishing on a 2 week camping holiday at Whananaki. Fishing is slow at this time of the year with most boats hitting liz reef catching few numbers of small snapper. I stayed close and hooked this within half an hour of launching. Fair to say that the boats targeted in close for the next few days. It's my PB for snapper and was the 1st fish landed on my new Daiwa Lexa reel. I have now moved my baitcaster to my "go-to" combo.

well done :y:
Everyone is a genius.

But if you judge a fish
on its ability to climb a tree.
it will live its whole life believing it is stupid.
