I had a customer in today from oversea's (french)

buying jigs to go jigging today up north (20 knots)

Told him the forecast and that it's an offshore wind so be careful. While I'm talking to him his lady friend says, "you should look at getting one of these (PFD)"
showed him our deal on one and he says (oh to expensive "$100"), I had a few goes at pushing the point but "nah to expensive, Don't need one any way" even pointed out that he was putting less than a $100 price tag on his life!

Paid for his 2 jigs and assists ($80) later and left....

Fishing is like a box of chocolates. you never know what is going to be served up...

I saw Burnsco advertising them the other day from $19 :!: couldn't tell you what it was like, but probably better than nothing :y:

I've been making a point of wearing my inflatable one while rock fishing lately (when the weather puts me off the yak) and I've had a few people quietly comment that they should think about it too. Especially with the new ones that are so light you barely notice it on all day.
