mmm got a curly one for ya all to ponder.
Been asked about mounting a ff on a fibreglass waka ama. Its a single so space is limited. No holes can be made due to excessive cost of vessel. Must be fully removable. Will post a photo. For a super keen fisho. By all accounts she slays it!

Fishing off a waka??? you could use a hose clamp to hold a arm off the outrigger to the transducer and a box on the back for the battery and
head unit.

There are better things out there if you just want speed/distance

my immediate thought would be a strap or clamp rig on the outrigger arm. might be a little out of reach but would be easy to remove and get the transducer in the water.
