Hi yakkers,

sorry I didn't post that often here in the last couple of months. Too busy baking bread and Christmas stollen. As a baker this is my busy season. But - wohoo - I have been out once. Umm but better not talk about it. I discovered one of the basic kayaking rules: "If it isn't attached to your kayak you will lose it. The more expensive it is the more likely it isn't attached to your kayak".

On to my question, the rear well cover. Where do the forward straps attach to? I tried to attach to the seat rear clips but they are too close together. My Profish 400 has threads molded into the deck on either side. Am I missing some button or something there? And if yes, where can I find them? I checked viking web page and found this Button & Screw. But I need one with a machine screw. Or better a button with an extended lip to one side? Any ideas?
