Perception swing Opinions

Hi, I'm trolling through as much info as I can in lead-up to buying a yak. Just keen on any feedback/experience on these babies. I've seen little bits on the enclosed but any help would be much appreciated. Cheers

Any knowledge of these out there....?

Anyone know of these kayaks or have any advice? Assume Chinese made, maybe replica of something? 1 year warranty. 32 kgs a little heavier than competitive brands.

Re: Molemap

All good advice, dont be a dead hero. My wife nagged me about a growing mole on my outer thigh, had it checked, malignant, it was cut out and I have a hunk of meat missing off the leg. All good now but worth it. As for the finger up the jacksie, you gotta do it. Like someone said, find a doc with sm...

Re: Hi - newbie from Wellington

Hi there, I'm not far off owning my first yak, looking to get a Prowler 13. I'm in Whitby and probably going to get some early experience around this part of the coast - Plimmerton, Pukerua, maybe some inner harbour areas. Done ample boat fishing, keen to try the yak option for some variety. Might c...

Re: Get the ball rolling

Gidday WoP, Good luck with generating interest. As in my post above I'm ending the research phase about to buy and install my mods to a yak. Either a Prowler 13 or Marauder. I work in the Hutt area, live in Whitby, will probably take my first paddle around Plimmerton, Pukerua Bay or perhaps some of ...

Nice to hear, I'm about to buy my first yak and will operate close to home initially which means Plimmerton and thereabouts. Thanks for heads up.

Re: Get the ball rolling

What happened with all the above discussion as a concept? I'm about to join the yak fishing fraternity in Wellington and keen to jump on the band wagon. Had plenty of boat fishing experience but excited about having my butt closer to the water. Not far off purchasing my first yak. Cheers.

Re: Respect the fish

Sounds like you wont go fishing with him again, that would really naff me as well. I always use something to protect not only the fish but me when bringing it in. Sometimes just wet hands are all you need to give a juvenile fish protection from oils in your skin. I'm with you mate but not all fisher...

Yet another newbie

Gidday fishos, I'm keen as to get into a kayak, have spent a good deal of time reading up various posts about the best yak to buy. Stuck between P400, Prowler 4.1 and FnD. Defaulting to P400. Have spent plenty of time on the water hanging over the back of a fizz boat, wasting fuel charging over the ...
