Re: protocol for naming craft.

I hope there is no protocol. So far naming has been down to only getting round to removing one sticker from previously owned yak. My Stealth is called Now Man and Prowler is called Rug Runner   Getting to the stage where I wont buy second hand unless the owner has a name that works with 1 ...

Re: SOLD DrugRunners custom ultra

so what's happened to that precious Stealth Still in the fleet and still very much number one. I missed the practicality of the Prowler though so could not resist this price. Could pretty much guarantee the money back if I flicked it off so a no brainer. Like HLD surprised it stayed unsold for so l...

As the unofficial holder of this for the last few years I think it would be a great idea and more than happy to pass the mantle on to G1 when he returns from Afghanistan.

Re: The Drifft Chute Drogue Issue

I have had a few and while not definitive I have found that if it rolls up tight easily then it seems to unroll easily. A small float on the narrow end helps to open it up too and easier to collect back in.
At the moment I am using the Rob Fort one.

Re: F/S DrugRunners custom ultra

It's sold now and settled nicely in the garden of a very handsome yakker in Rotovegasland.  Just need to work out how to justify another fishfinder now so open to offers. I was really pleased to find out it did not have a Northland Prowlers sticker on it though (kind of makes me think o...

Re: What is everyones thoughts on this?

There are some pretty F'ed up traditions out there! Without getting too political this would be way less frustrating that things humans do to each other.

At least there is always the chance that the fish will be around long enough to see someone choke on one of its bones.

Re: Personal reccomendation

To be honest after a bit of paddling all the top brands are much the same as far as stability go. Your muscles and paddle fitness will be what keeps you upright and going long distance. You need to try them all and see what suits you in way of how they can be set out. I have had a couple of prowlers...

Hope it goes away soon for you. Twins will put everything in perspective and it won't be too long til you can get a 2+1 and get them to paddle you round.

I use 6lb up to 20lb for soft baiting depending on the weight of set up I am using. It also depends a lot on what is in the bargain bin.
