Re: newbie in the naki

Hi, I'm in the Naki too, I'll pm you next time i head out. I'm new to this too so I doubt you'll learn anything from me, but you'll probably feel better about your own fishing performance after seeing mine!

Re: hey guys new here

Taking into account your budget id suggest trying the prowler 13 , prowler 4.5 , profish 440 or 400 or the marauder Just be careful buying old marauders mate, I heard (after I bought my one) that there's a fault with the old versions that caused many to be recalled - a real bargain may not be quite...

Re: This Week in The Naki

Hi Greg,

I'm hoping to go out for a fish tomorrow (Tues). I'm new at this lark, but if you want some company, let me know. I don't mind having a little drive to get there if you don't mind fishing with a newbie!

Re: Hydration When Kayaking !

reading the first article makes me think the easiest way to hydrate is to fall in every now and then, the untreated seawater that you will inevitably swallow while flapping around in the water should be sufficient to support efficient rehydration! Perhaps in the water would be a good time for a pee ...

Re: First kiwi fishies

Do you softbait or smelly?
Keento gave me a couple of pilchards, I can't remember if this was with the pilchard or the mackerel and squid. The snapper liked the pilchards better :) Might have to give softbaiting a go though.

Re: Lost my nerve and called it quits.... for today

Nice... glad I'm not doing your washing! Would have been really cool to see a photo, but I reckon we all understand that it was the last thing on your mind! On a related note, is there a way of putting all the shark sighting posts in one folder which only shows up if you say you want to see ...

terminal fell off my battery

I just bought a kayak with a ff and after 2 trips out i have knocked the terminal off the battery. I was just a small and rather flimsy spade connector. Would I be correct in thinking that I can just screw into the material below where the terminal was and I will still be able to use it? Has anyone ...

completely new in taranaki

Hey, I've been looking at doing a bit of kayak fishing - would anyone be kind enough to show me the ropes one day please? I'll have to rent a kayak and get a rod, but it looks like so much fun! I'm based in new plymouth. Cheers, Stu
