Re: Cooks Beach and surrounding areas fishing info please folks
Hey bud, hope all is well, when u heading to cooks? i just came back from 3 weeks there today. fishing off cooks itself can be hard, its a very very flat sandy bottom, that being said there are good fish taken from there, i know of an 18lber and a 16lber taken over the sand there in the last 2 weeks...

Re: Multi Day Trip Advice?
I find it easier to work out how many days I can be away for, and then work the destination around that
Circumnavigation of Taupo is also really good.
Or if your after just an overnighter there are plenty of islands around the place.

Re: kayak sails
:P I think up wind sailing in a "normal" kayak with any type of sail is going to be limited due to not having a keel of any sort (except perhaps the hobie). Not impossible by an means, but dont have visions of being the next emerates team nz boat. And putting so much force so high up is al...

Re: Anyone able to print a T Shirt for me?
That you might see in the malls - my nearest "mall" is 100km away Yes I forgot about that. See living in paradise does have its downfalls :P If its for a bit of a 1 off type thing (i.e doent need to last any real length of time) then could always get mental to cut something up on the lase...

Re: kayak sails
I have a PA sail, love it, it comes out with me on all big trips.
I generally try to paddle into the wind on the way out, and cruse home under sail.
It certainly adds a bit of extra range.
(just don't rely 100% on it, as winds do shift).
but yea I love mine.

Re: Any screenprinters here?
in a past life...
but not any longer im afraid.
That being said, for 3, your probably better off getting it done digitally at those places you see in the malls these days, means you dont have to create film and screens.

Re: Has anyone ever tried the Izumi Live Bait lures?
I have a few of them I picked up in Aus about 2 years ago. They weren't expensive, and I'm pretty sure I got them out of the specials bin... To be honest I dont recall ever catching anything on them, but that is probably because I tend to have my "go to" lures, and havent given them enough...
