Re: Where I can get some of these?

Go see your local motor trimmer, they come in single and double length depending on how many layers you want to clip on to them. If you get stuck send me a pm and I can send some to you.

I've also got some folda poles that you can buy. They are designed to fit aero bars.

Re: Room for two up top?

Not only can you fit two kayaks on the roof racks you can fit three with the right cradles. I usually carry two kayaks and a roof box on mine. I'm using the Yakima bow downs, but you must ensure that you tie the kayaks front and rear. This reduces a lot of pressure on the racks from wind and adds ex...

Re: Wrist injury

This isn't going to fix your problem but will help in the future and put less stress on your wrist. Try Changing your paddle to a crank shaft ( ergo shaft) as your wrists will be in a more natural position. I fractured my wrist last year and was quite sore paddling once it was healed so I changed to...

Re: Lowrance Elite 3x

It depends on what you like at the end of the day. If you have an ocean kayak hummingbird will fit the transducer nicely as the kayaks are manufactured to accomodate for the hummingbirds. The latter model Vikings will fit most fish finder brands transducers. Just be aware of the size of the transduc...

Re: Lowrance Elite 3x

I'm also interested in any input mate, They look good but I'm also new to them so my opinion doesn't mean much :) just for your info marine deals have the elite 4x HDI (still not a chart plotter) on sale for $249 which I think is bloody good. Usually about $350 You can get an elite 4 without chartp...

Re: Lowrance Elite 3x

for the price mate you can't go wrong.
It will do everything you want in a fishfinder. Depth, water temp, show you wants on the bottom and tell you where the fish are.
unless you were wanting a chart plotter then you could consider Elite 4 HDI.

also try to carry them upside down as it doesn't try to fly off when you get a bit of speed :y: for carrying kayaks upside down if you don't have any cradles to support the kayak as they will be sitting flat on the roof rack. This goes for sit on top kayaks Sit in yaks will need to be sitting on cr...
